Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Monks. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the German People Department to deliver an exceptional employee experience as we scale rapidly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert HR support across all locations, serving as a contact person for employee concerns related to HR and labor law issues throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive work culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Build close and trusting working relationships both internally and externally, conducting employee interviews and supporting the implementation of global/regional HR programs.
  • Support the development and execution of HR projects, creating reports as required and updating local people decks and people sites.
  • Manage HR administration, including maintaining employee information, holidays, and master data in Workday, as well as processing enquiries via our ticket system.
  • Prepare and create contract documents, including certificates of employment, employment contracts, amendments, and employment and interim references.
Requirements:
  • A commercial apprenticeship, university degree, or comparable qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role in a fast-paced organization, ideally in an international environment.
  • Profound knowledge of labor, wage tax, and social security law, as well as experience with HR software (such as Workday).
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • A team player with a positive mindset, self-starting, structured, and diligent work style, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Analytical thinking skills, interest in complex business contexts, strong solution-oriented communication skills, intercultural competence, and confident presence.
  • Critical thinking and willingness to ask questions.
  • Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of daily challenges.
