Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team at denkwerk GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using Java.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java, following best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend development and UX/UI design, to deliver end-to-end software solutions.
- Develop and maintain unit tests, ensuring high code quality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and design patterns, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes.
- Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of our software applications.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of our company's technical vision and strategy.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and unit testing.
- Excellent understanding of software design patterns, including KISS and DRY.
- Experience with web services and APIs, including REST and SOAP.
- Strong knowledge of Java-based content management or e-commerce systems is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
