About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for implementing and customizing the Guidewire core insurance system, working with alternative JVM languages.
You will also develop our own systems, support the team by sharing your knowledge, and design IT solutions. Additionally, you will work directly with our clients as an active member of an agile project team.
About the Skills and Tools:
You will use Java or Gosu, Git, Jenkins, and similar tools, IntelliJ, SOAP, REST, Apex, Oracle, MSSQL, H2, and more depending on the project.
About the Requirements:
We require at least 4 years of commercial experience as a software developer, preferably in Java. You should have hands-on insurance domain experience, banking, or system integration, and a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.
You should also have a solid understanding of software engineering concepts, good command of English and German language, at least C1 level, and a willingness to learn new technologies and work with them.
About the Wishes:
Nice to have: fluency in French, Guidewire experience and certificates, experience in consulting, eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions, and willingness to travel regularly.
