Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Infotainment System Engineer with a focus on connectivity solutions. This role involves working on cutting-edge automotive technologies and requires a strong background in embedded systems and infotainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a minimum of 2 years' experience in embedded products, media infotainment, audio systems, and automotive connectivity features.
  • Engage in the Software Development Life Cycle, including systems engineering, integration, and testing.
  • Apply expert knowledge of VW-specific online interfaces for integration and testing.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the VW end-to-end system architecture for online functionalities.
  • Utilize the Atlassian Framework, including tools such as Jira, Confluence, KPM, Doris, DOORS, and System42.
  • Leverage knowledge of mobile online services, particularly CarNet/We.
  • Understand automotive architectures and communication protocols, including CAN, MOST, and ETHERNET.
  • Provide backend support and development expertise.
  • Manage test execution and related activities effectively.
  • Apply knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Implement change management processes efficiently.
  • Utilize programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, especially in bash/shell scripting.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory; Italian language skills are a plus.
