Connectivity-Focused Infotainment System Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Infotainment System Engineer with a strong emphasis on connectivity within the automotive industry. This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies that enhance user experience in vehicles.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Embedded Systems, Media Infotainment, Audio, VR, Bluetooth, CAN Connectivity, HMI Tuner, Navigation, or other automotive features.
  • Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle, including systems engineering, integration, and testing in relevant fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of VW-specific online interfaces and their integration and testing.
  • Expertise in the VW End-to-End system architecture for online functionalities.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Framework (Jira, Confluence, KPM, Doris, DOORS, System42).
  • Strong understanding of mobile online services such as CarNet/We.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Architectures and communication protocols (CAN/MOST/ETHERNET).
  • Experience in backend support and development.
  • Proficient in test execution management.
  • Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of Change Management processes.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, Java, and Python.
  • Good command of Unix/Linux, particularly in bash/shell scripting.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential; Italian is a plus.
