About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Migration and Implementation Lead to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our client delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing migration and implementation projects for our European clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead migration projects, including planning, resource allocation, and time management.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and end-users, to clarify requirements and expectations.
  • Prepare training and coaching for employees and provide support during the transition phase to ensure a smooth transition to new systems.
  • Understand and document incoming customer requests and route them to the right people in the development team according to priority.
  • Scrutinize customer requirements and technical development approaches.
  • Explain technical development concepts and information security to customers.
  • Initiate new projects and set up new project routines.
  • Manage requirements and formulate customer needs, as well as plan and communicate to achieve desired functional requirements on the customer platform.
  • Lead development teams in delivering product features that meet client business requirements and project deadlines.
  • Develop and support client delivery leads within the organization.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Kraken infrastructure and align client direction with the overall goal of the Kraken platform.
Requirements
  • Fluent English and German required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Client delivery and/or product ownership experience.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Experience in product management and customer journeys.
  • Solid understanding of technology and associated trends.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge traditional ways of thinking.
  • Experience working with complex delivery pipelines for clients.
  • Patience and initiative.
  • Time management and a get-stuff-done attitude.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
