Job Title: Sales Manager Animal Nutrition

Job Summary:

ADM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive our animal nutrition business in the DACH countries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for unlocking and maximizing the potential of our animal nutrition business in the region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead our animal nutrition sales efforts in the DACH countries, including key accounts and technical sales.
  • Establish and develop long-term customer relationships to drive business growth.
  • Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for growth.
  • Understand our portfolio of products and create and fulfill sales plans and budgets.
  • Develop and execute a 3-5 year business plan for the region.
  • Provide monthly reporting, sales analytics, and insights to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with product management, application, and product development to develop customer concepts.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive activity, and changing consumer behaviors to drive business growth strategically.
  • Closely interact with other departments, including technical support, customer service/logistics, product management, marketing, and controlling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agri, Agro Engineering, Veterinarian, or Business.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications.
  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B food, dairy, and/or ingredients business.
  • Business development spirit, solid negotiation skills, autonomy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual team, enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong customer service orientation skills, experience working in a matrix organization, and flexible travel within the region.
  • Excellent English language skills.
