AFC Audit Manager

Raisin GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join its Group Internal Audit function. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in helping the Management protect the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the international organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits as per the annual audit plan, with a focus on AML and other regulations combating financial crime and relevant standards and frameworks.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, recommend improvements, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including risk management and compliance teams, to ensure alignment on governance and compliance issues.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and thorough execution of audit plans.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting to Senior Management and presentations for relevant Committees.
- Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Law, or Economics, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CMAS, CIA, or similar) are highly appreciated.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in auditing, governance, risk, and compliance, ideally within the international financial services industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of BaFin-specific regulation, such as MaRisk, as well as EBA guidelines with a focus on anti-financial crime.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong communication abilities with experience in stakeholder management and the capacity to mediate between different interests effectively.
- Language skills: Good English language skills. German and other European languages are a plus.
