**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Center Support Specialist to join our team at AVIAREPS. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, move, add, change, and decommission IT equipment in our data center
- Proactively monitor our ticketing system, raising, managing, and closing service tickets in a timely manner
- Escort and supervise third-party vendors within the data center
- Provide hardware upgrade and break-fix support
- Perform structured cabling of power, copper, and fiber network connections
- Coordinate the delivery and pickup of shipments
- Document all infrastructural changes on a daily basis
- Manage inventory records and DC spare parts on a monthly basis
- Offer day-to-day performance and operational support for hardware and software to our business users
- Participate in assigned projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience and working knowledge in data center IT support
- Professional certifications like MCP or MCSE are a plus
- Experience with desktops, laptops, servers, and hardware support
- Knowledge of data center IT support
- Excellent German and English communication skills
- Strong team player with a friendly attitude
- Willingness to work in shifts
