We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Functional Support Engineer to join our team at INEOS Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of our PLM system.
Responsibilities- End Users Functional Support
- Recognize and evaluate end-users' issues in the system.
- Develop or propose solutions and countermeasures.
- Coordinate daily support of the PLM system with the helpdesk team.
- Coach the user community in the implementation of new processes and functionalities.
- Provide end-users with guidance and advice on system usage.
- Document functionalities usage to solve specific issues or improve working efficiency.
- Describe expected system changes and requirements with key users.
- Propose new methodologies or adaptations to existing methodologies.
- Propose system evolution to the PLM Change Committee.
- KPIs and Reporting
- Participate in the elaboration of necessary reporting/KPIs from the PLM.
- Collect PLM metrics, analyze deviations, clarify, and propose possible countermeasures.
- Ensure consistency of reporting.
- Communicate reporting/KPIs to different departments.
- Solution Validation
- Document system test specifications and non-regression test scenarios.
- Validate new PLM releases according to test specifications and non-regression tests.
- Support functional and business leaders in documenting user acceptance.
- University degree in engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Several years' experience in PLM support (technical and/or functional).
- Experience with Siemens TeamCenter.
- Strong knowledge of BOM management and variant configurator in TeamCenter.
- Familiarity with TeamCenter manufacturing.
- General knowledge of CAD systems, preferably with Catia V5 and/or Siemens NX.
- Fluent in English and highly proficient in French; German knowledge is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, able to extract essence from ill-defined issues, confirm understanding, and agree prioritization.
- Effective in working with people from different cultural backgrounds and experience levels.
- Ability to influence and coach people and deliver through them without being their manager.
- Excellent communicator at operational level, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding office software/computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented.
