About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Peter Park. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of car parking technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality backend infrastructure using Python and NestJS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve our product
  • Contribute to the improvement of our CI pipelines and monitoring systems
  • Assist in scaling up our systems to manage thousands of parking lots
  • Develop and maintain our Python-based backend services running on AWS
  • Mentor junior engineers on API and Python design patterns, cloud services, and DevOps
Requirements
  • Strong experience in real production projects with high throughput
  • Proficient in backend frameworks such as NestJS, Flask, Fastify, FastAPI
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (level C1)
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and container orchestration with Kubernetes
