Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Legal Counsel to join our team at GEODIS. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our business units across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze current legal developments and their implications on our business.
  • Review and negotiate German and international contracts.
  • Support the conception, preparation, and implementation of trainings for our employees.
  • Manage the contract review process and prepare and update sample contracts.
  • Support claims and insurance matters, as well as oversee data recording and maintain legal databases.
  • Optimize processes in the Regional Legal Department and support the Europe Region General Counsel in day-to-day business.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Law, preferably in German Law.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of German civil and commercial law.
  • Experience in international commercial law is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate in an international working environment.
  • Willingness to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in English and German.
Working Conditions

100% of your working time will be dedicated to this role.
