Sales and Key Account Manager for Automotive Materials

Arkema's High Performance Polymers Business

is seeking a dynamic Sales and Key Account Manager to drive growth in the automotive market.

As a certified top employer, Arkema is a global leader in Innovative Materials for a Sustainable World.

The ideal candidate will have > 5 years experience in polymers sales, preferably within the automotive industry, and outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and sales-closing skills.

Fluency in German and English is required, with French or eastern Europe language a plus.

The Sales and Key Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Proposing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive growth in the territory with a focus on key accounts and OEMs
  • Negotiating commercial contracts
  • Coordinating global accounts activity with related global team
  • Monitoring customer demand and coordinating sales
  • Cultivating strong relationships across customers/OEMs various levels and functions
  • Promoting products and applications, identifying new customers and partners within the assigned segment/territory

The Sales and Key Account Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Representing Arkema at trade shows
  • Contribute articles, present papers, and attend conferences
  • Analyzing the value chain, competitive environment, and market dynamics within the territory
  • Participating in standard committees and influencing material requirements for standard tests as needed
  • Utilizing company tools (CRM, SAP,...) to manage and report on activities
