The Excellence Cluster Cardio-Pulmonary Institute (CPI) at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Research Scientist or PhD Candidate in the field of life sciences.

About the Project

We are looking for an enthusiastic student with a master's degree in life sciences or a related field to contribute to our research on lung and heart diseases. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, collaborating with top researchers in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate research results independently and write scientific abstracts and manuscripts
  • Participate in one of the internationally leading graduate programs associated with pulmonary research
  • Conduct experimental research in areas such as molecular, cell biological, physiological, histological examinations, and systemic effects of lung diseases
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual with a strong background in life sciences or a related field. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in performing the activities mentioned above and possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to scientific work and laboratory activities.
