Senior Java Software Engineer

About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Java engineer to lead our development squads in creating best-in-class process automation solutions. As a Lead Java Engineer, you will be responsible for laying the technical foundations for our development teams, working with business stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements, and designing and developing end-to-end automation solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop process automation solutions aligned with DB Group technology standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Lead the development of end-to-end automation solutions, including training and testing.
  • Work with QA engineers to develop test automation frameworks.
  • Present solutions to internal councils and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and direct junior engineers.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Strong technical leadership skills and experience in Java development.
  • University degree in a technical or scientific field.
  • Deep knowledge of recent technologies, including GCP, programming languages, databases, and BPA solutions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to drive decision-making processes and collaborate with architects.
  • Fluency in English, with German a plus.
