Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at Optimus Search. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain secure and scalable healthcare platforms using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals, to design and build healthcare management platforms.
  • Optimize backend systems for speed, security, and scalability, ensuring patient data is handled with the utmost care and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating them with clinical applications and patient-facing systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely fixes to ensure critical healthcare services remain operational.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Backend Java Developer in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, with an emphasis on secure and efficient code.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, ensuring interoperability with electronic health records (EHR) and medical devices.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) for secure data management and storage.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline healthcare app development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail, particularly in a healthcare setting where accuracy is critical.
