International Legal Counsel

At ANDRITZ, we are seeking a highly skilled International Legal Counsel to join our team and contribute to the success of our business divisions. As a German contract lawyer with a profound understanding of international project structures, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project and procurement teams in Germany and across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiating complex project transactions and managing commercial disputes
• Providing robust risk assessments and supporting businesspeople with a hands-on mentality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in various jurisdictions, including Germany, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia
• Supporting the development of business divisions in multi-sectorial teams of professionals
Requirements:
• Qualified lawyer with a European law degree and strong commercial background
• 2-6 years of post-graduate experience in a reputable law firm or international corporation
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a strong understanding of German contract law and FIDIC Yellow Book, World Bank, and NEC contracts
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and German, with professional usage of another language an advantage
• Ability to work in various jurisdictions and deal with internationally applied standard forms of contract and other legal issues
