Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled contract lawyer to support single-design projects in Germany, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. The successful candidate will work in a local core team of contract lawyers, serving as a cross-functional expert for the Andritz Hydro business divisions. The role involves negotiating complex project transactions, managing significant commercial disputes, and providing robust risk assessments.

Profile:

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials, a profound commercial background, and a visible record of German contract law. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of post-graduate experience gained in a reputable law firm or an international corporation. Experience in infrastructure projects and knowledge of FIDIC Yellow Book, World Bank, and NEC contracts are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate complex project transactions
  • Manage significant commercial disputes
  • Provide robust risk assessments
  • Support businesspeople with contract-related matters

Requirements:

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Professional usage of another language is a plus
