Octopus Energy is a leading global provider of solutions that enable customers to unlock value from distributed energy resources. We are building a Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription business with a global addressable market, digitally connecting hundreds of thousands of DERs with energy markets.

We have achieved a market-leading position and KrakenFlex is a recognized thought leader and innovator in the industry. Our partnership with Octopus Energy has brought significant opportunities, and we are now seeking an experienced Delivery Excellence Manager to drive our growth in Germany.

This role will play a crucial part in maturing our delivery culture, processes, and practices, ensuring our strategic and bespoke customer projects run smoothly and deliver to plan. You will be responsible for coordinating between multiple external parties, keeping stakeholders informed, and ensuring risks and issues are clearly communicated.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Delivery Excellence Manager with experience in Agile or Lean program delivery at scale, across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a technical mindset, fluency in English and German, and a deep understanding of Agile and Lean principles. You will be responsible for:

  • Planning, tracking, and proactively managing strategic and customer projects
  • Lining managing customer experience engineers who handle onboarding and support processes
  • Ensuring feature transitions into production and maintaining a healthy DevOps environment
  • Coordinating across time zones with product teams to manage dependencies and drive collaboration
  • Providing Lean and Agile coaching within delivery teams and throughout the organization
  • Developing a healthy delivery culture that increases employee engagement and provides a balanced approach between delivery and sustainability

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Agile or Lean program delivery at scale, across the product lifecycle
  • Fluency in English and German
  • A technical mindset and experience in the energy supply sector
  • A deep knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and the ability to communicate their importance effectively
  • Established experience managing budgets over £1m/year
  • A strong track record of developing individuals and teams, navigating conflict, and setting expectations with corporate customers
