About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our Corporate Treasury and Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our finance experts to record, verify, and update account relationships, as well as prepare documents for our external rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance team members to record, verify, and update account relationships
- Assist in reporting, including cash pool and bank account usage
- Prepare documents for external rating
- Automate reporting processes in MS Excel
- Collaborate in evaluating interest rate and currency risks
- Evaluate and maintain data in tm5 and HFM databases
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Refinitiv Eikon
Requirements:
- Degree in business administration, economics, or industrial engineering with a focus on finance (preferably master's level) or a related discipline (mathematics, IT, etc.)
- Initial practical experience, e.g., in the context of internships
- Interest in financial issues
- Sound analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Independent, responsible approach to work combined with good German and very good English skills
- Ability to work under pressure, commitment, ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word; preferably also in VBA programming or PowerQuery)
