Financial Analyst Intern

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our Corporate Treasury and Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our finance experts to record, verify, and update account relationships, as well as prepare documents for our external rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance team members to ensure accurate and timely recording of account relationships
- Prepare and review financial reports, including cash pool and bank account usage
- Support the preparation of documents for our external rating
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports using MS Excel
- Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate interest rate and currency risks
- Evaluate and maintain data in the tm5 and HFM databases
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Refinitiv Eikon
Requirements:
- Degree in business administration, economics, or industrial engineering with a focus on finance (preferably master's level) or a related discipline (mathematics, IT, etc.)
- Initial practical experience, e.g., in the context of internships
- Interest in financial issues
- Sound analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Independent, responsible approach to work combined with good German and very good English skills
- Ability to work under pressure, commitment, and ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word; preferably also in VBA programming or PowerQuery)
