Your Role as a Care SpecialistWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Specialists to join our team at Ellernkamp, a residential facility in Bielefeld-Mitte. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the well-being and independence of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities- Provide personalized assistance and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with epilepsy, autism, and chronic illnesses.
- Guide and accompany clients in their daily lives, assisting with personal care, household tasks, and administrative matters.
- Train and mentor basic service staff, students, and interns, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Contribute to the overall functioning of the facility by taking on cross-functional responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, ensuring clear and concise records.
- Empower clients to live fulfilling lives by actively involving them in community activities, such as leisure pursuits, shopping, and medical appointments.

- Competitive compensation based on the collective bargaining agreement (AVR DD) for Diakonie Deutschland, with an estimated starting salary of approximately € gross per month for full-time employment (39 hours/week).
- Flexible work arrangements, allowing you to customize your schedule from 19.5 to 29.25 hours per week.
