Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at DWS. As a key member of our Category Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global sourcing strategies, managing procurement projects, and analyzing category spend and market data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to develop and maintain global sourcing strategies, projects, and contracting processes.
  • Contribute to broader development initiatives by working with Procurement colleagues and DWS business stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and requirements.
  • Analyze category spend and market data to inform decision-making and drive business value.
  • Support the implementation of sourcing projects, including planning, RfP, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Develop and maintain sourcing reports to provide insights and recommendations to key DWS business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Procurement with recent Category Management/Sourcing experience in a relevant category (ideally Banking Services, IT, or Professional Services).
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills, with experience in problem-solving and process improvement.
  • German (preference) and English language fluency, with excellent communication skills.
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level (or equivalent qualification/work experience).
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
