Fitness and Wellness Coordinator

The Fitness and Wellness Coordinator/Assistant Coach is a dynamic and multifaceted role that requires a unique blend of leadership, communication, and program development skills. This position is responsible for coordinating the operations of the Lifetime Sports Complex Fitness Center, developing and implementing health and wellness programs, and assisting with athletic teams.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the scheduling and operations of the Lifetime Sports Complex, including staffing, maintenance, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff.
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs that promote good lifestyle habits, including hygiene, time management, diet, and other life skills.
- Assist with the recruitment and development of student athletes, including travel arrangements, practice and game preparation, and academic monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Department of Physical Education faculty, Athletics, and other college officials to develop and implement Lifetime Sports programs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in recreation, sports management, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of work experience. A Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration or a related area is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse students, staff, and faculty.
