Cybersecurity Researcher

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Researcher to protect Defence and Aerospace assets from cyber attacks.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, leveraging state-of-the-art trusted technologies to develop tailored cyber security products and solutions.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Our location in Ottobrunn/Taufkirchen is a short distance from Munich, with easy access to the Alps and Lake Starnberg for outdoor activities.

You can also work at our locations in Ingolstadt near Manching, Immenstaad/Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance, or in Bremen near the North Sea coast.

• Support development for virtualization, emulation and simulation for cyber-physical systems and networks
• Develop models of cyber-physical systems to support simulation and emulation
• Develop scenarios for training, integration and testing of virtualization and simulation and networks

• Post-graduate degree in the field of Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related discipline, PhD is desirable
• Basic programming skills (e.g. in Python) and previous experience with cyber-physical simulation environments are a plus
• Experience with experimental verification and validation and building simulation environments is beneficial
• Being able to organise and prioritise your own work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
