About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team at Rolls-Royce Power Systems. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for managing the proposal process for medium to large scale microgrid and on-grid applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complex proposals for hybrid power generation systems, including battery storage, photovoltaics, wind turbines, hydrogen solutions, and diesel generators at low and medium voltage levels.
- Lead technical and commercial reviews of complex enquiries and tenders, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, technical/software, and external suppliers and partners to develop and deliver high-quality proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring that proposals are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, off-grid applications, power generation, or a related field.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel.
- Knowledge of renewable or conventional power plants or grid connection.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems and SCADA/control systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, with German and other languages a plus.
