Security Expert Customer Software Specialist

Job Summary:

Festo SE & Co. KG is seeking a highly skilled Security Expert Customer Software Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating security concepts for customer software, performing cyber security threat analysis and risk assessment, and implementing security features in customer software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security concepts for customer software to ensure the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough cyber security threat analysis and risk assessment to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with product management and system architects to develop secure software solutions.
  • Formulate security profile requirements and advise the development team on security standards.
  • Support the development team in complying with internal product security processes and methods.
  • Collaborate with the CISO and PSIRT team in incident management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with a focus on cyber security.
  • Experience in software development in Microsoft.Net and knowledge of software architectures.
  • Strong affinity and expertise in cyber security with knowledge of security standards.
  • Awareness of software quality, testability, and experience in implementing security mechanisms in customer software.
  • Experience in conducting threat analyses and risk assessments is desirable.
  • Knowledge in industrial automation components is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent analytical, structured, abstract thinking, creativity, and teamwork abilities.
