Cyber Security Specialist

Job Description

Your Role:

  • Develop and implement security concepts for customer software, ensuring the secure commissioning of electrical automation components.
  • Conduct thorough Cyber Security Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for customer software, identifying potential vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Assess the impact of security risks and threats on our products, providing recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
  • Collaborate with product management and system architects to develop and implement security concepts and functions in customer software.
  • Formulate security requirements and advise the development team on security standards and best practices.
  • Support the development team in adhering to internal product security processes and methods.
  • Work closely with the CISO and PSIRT team on incident management and response.
Your Qualifications:
  • Completed studies in computer science with a focus on cyber security or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in software development using Microsoft.Net and knowledge of software architectures.
  • Strong affinity and expertise in cyber security, including knowledge of security standards (e.g. IEC, ISO).
  • High awareness of software quality and testability, with initial experience in implementing security mechanisms in customer software.
  • Desirable experience in performing threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA).
  • Knowledge of industrial automation components is an advantage.
  • Business fluent in German and English.
  • Analytical skills, structured and abstract thinking, and creativity, combined with excellent teamwork abilities.
