About the Role
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Federal Program Manager Europe to drive strategic growth and expansion in the Federal sector, specifically focused on OCONUS military construction design and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to expand Arcadis' Government & Civic A/E Design work in the Federal sector.
- Collaborate with Market Sector and Account Leads to drive business growth and client engagement.
- Develop and implement winning client and pursuit strategies to secure new projects and expand existing relationships.
- Provide technical input and expertise to support project and program scopes, and interact directly with clients to cultivate new business opportunities.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and implementation of focus areas.
- Prepare and present documents, presentations, and other materials to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in client-facing meetings to cultivate new business and develop relationships.
- Lead the preparation of detailed engineering calculations and analysis, and utilize design software to solve complex issues.
- Supervise and support the work of others, and mentor junior-level engineers and design/drafting technical staff.
- Model behaviors consistent with Arcadis' core values and maintain an active presence in the sector.
Requirements
- 10 years of A/E design experience in the Federal sector.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
- Current RA or PE License in the United States.
- 5-10 years of experience with Federal projects.
- Proven ability to write winning Federal proposals.
- Past experience with multiple federal government agencies, including but not limited to USACE, DOD, and DOE.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 15 years of A/E design experience in the Federal sector.
- Past experience with other types of public work, including State and Municipal.
- Past program management demonstrating ownership of work types and leveraging of industry relationships.
