Financial Controller Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team at Raisin Bank.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy with accounting standards.
- Audit Support: Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data with tech-driven tools.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with German financial regulations (HGB, IFRS) and banking industry standards.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis and Reporting: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to senior management to support business growth initiatives.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the banking or FinTech industry.
- Skills and Qualifications: Understanding of German accounting principles (HGB) and international standards (IFRS) is a plus. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills in English.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Raisin GmbH offers a competitive salary, estimated around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include flexible working hours, 30 days holiday, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off, Deutschland Ticket subsidy, JobRad bicycle leasing, company pension schemes, and capital-forming payments.
