Job Title: Logistics Expert for Medical Supplies

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Expert for Medical Supplies to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procure and manage medical supplies through the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system
- Ensure accurate inventory management and storage of medical supplies
- Coordinate with local procurement teams to initiate returns and replacements of damaged items
- Balance the DMLSS system to reflect current status of requests versus items received
- Store and inventory controlled medical items, controlled substances, and precious metals

Requirements:

- 2 years of creditable experience in a similar role
- Experience with the use of common software and computer systems
- Proficiency in English and German languages (B2 level)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
