Siemens Mobility GmbH is a leading supplier in the field of mobility for over 160 years. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales department in developing optimized implementation concepts and coordinate and monitor installation activities on site.
  • Manage and advise a team of qualified specialists and technicians and ensure compliance with processes, procedures and requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the technically correct, timely and cost-effective installation of traction power supply components.
  • Coordinate the interfaces between various technical and non-technical partners and define and support opportunity and risk measures.
  • Review the installation costs incurred, comparing them with the progress of the installation and the project cost data and inform project management and other stakeholders of cost overruns at an early stage.
  • Support the tendering and awarding of installation contracts to third parties by improving technical documentation in accordance with established guidelines and providing expert support during contract and amendment management.
  • Develop and implement tangible execution concepts, taking into account risk minimization and cost reduction.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering field with electrical engineering content.
  • Many years of relevant experience in projects in the field of traction current electrification, power generation or high-voltage direct current transmission.
  • Many years of in-depth experience with Siemens or comparable railroad electrification systems and associated equipment.
  • Expertise in project planning and development as well as in team leadership in the field of construction site or technical project management.
  • Intercultural experience through stays abroad as well as a willingness to travel up to 50% worldwide.
  • Fluency in English and ideally speak German well.
