About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our EMEA team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the oil & gas and energy sectors, as well as identifying new opportunities in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies to expand new business and increase market share in the oil & gas and energy sectors.
- Identify and develop complex projects in new construction and the electrification of turbine-driven powertrains.
- Conduct market analyses to identify growth areas in new applications such as hydrogen, decarbonization, digitalization, and electrification.
- Develop business relationships with industry-relevant stakeholders and generate industry knowledge to inform future development fields.
- Influence decisions early in favor of Voith technologies through close collaboration with relevant business partners.
- Reflect customer feedback within the Voith organization to drive customer-oriented alignment.
- Act and coordinate activities within an international team across various departmental areas.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field from a recognized university.
- Several years of technical sales experience in the energy or oil & gas industry, with a corresponding network in the industry.
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
