Job Summary

As a Data Center Project Manager at Microsoft, you will play a key role in supporting the field operations leadership team to operationalize strategic initiatives consistently at campus level. This includes ensuring financial planning and performance reviews align with the business calendar and managing scheduling conflicts with stakeholders.

About the Role

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Data Center Project Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics projects with consistency, evaluating and increasing productivity, efficiency, and minimizing incidents.
  • Support the local roll-out of projects driven by the regional logistics PM team.
  • Structure and support the onboarding and hiring of logistics technicians in the country.
  • Support IAM process reporting and create consistency in process over the country.
  • Support EHS Teams and IAM Teams on EHS requirements and sharing best practices.
  • Active support on audits ISO/R2A/GSMA/etc. on the IAM elements.
  • Support change and process roll-outs.
  • Active involvement on IAM-related projects (operations, pilots, requests from Region IAM PM).
  • Support Circular Center improvements where needed.
  • Support identifying and unblocking process issues in deployments and decom projects.
  • Support onboarding new sites and support management with logistical asks.
