Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Picnic, Europe's fastest-growing online supermarket. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in one of our Fulfillment Centers (FC) and ensuring that our customers receive their orders in the right quality and quantity at the right time.
You will lead a team of about 140 employees (referred to as Shoppers) to achieve this goal. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, you will work on various projects to improve our processes, enhance the customer experience, and make our operations more efficient.
Your organizational skills and leadership qualities will be crucial in handling the dynamic environment at Picnic. You will need to stay calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily operations at the FC and prioritize and complete all operational activities on time
- Lead, motivate, coach, and inspire a team of Team Leaders and over 100 Shoppers
- Drive optimization projects to continuously improve our processes
- Balance between operational leadership and strategic work
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Hotel/Event Management, or similar
- Relevant experience as a Shift Leader or in another leadership role
- Problem solver with the ability to quickly identify and solve issues
- Independent, thorough, goal-oriented, and hands-on
- Willing to work evenings and some Saturdays
- Fluent in German and English
