Cloud Strategy Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Strategy Manager to join our team at Eraneos Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud strategies that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business objectives
  • Assess and design cloud architectures to meet diverse requirements
  • Plan and execute cloud migrations, including assessing and migrating existing on-premises infrastructures to the cloud
  • Implement cloud solutions, including integration into existing systems
  • Operationalize cloud services, using cloud-based operational models and DevOps
  • Build, develop, and lead cloud teams
  • Utilize FinOps for cost-effective cloud set-ups
Requirements
  • Passion for digitalization issues and information technology
  • Outstanding University Degree (Master's, MBA, PhD) and at least four years of professional experience in the advisory field and/or relative project experience
  • Expertise in cloud strategy & architecture
  • Experience in cloud implementation & migration as well as operationalization
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with at least one Hyperscaler (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and preferably corresponding certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Experience in leading, developing, and training teams focused on cloud technologies
  • Preferably experience in FinOps, particularly in cost analysis, monitoring, and optimization in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of industry-specific requirements (e.g. Banking) and best practices in cloud computing is a plus
  • Sound understanding of common consulting methods and tools, ideally project management (e.g. PMP/Prince 2, SCRUM) and IT management certificates (e.g. ITIL, Cobit)
  • Business fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage (e.g. Chinese)
