The Role
We are seeking a strong visual creative and experienced designer to join our team as a Spatial Designer. This individual will ideate and transform creative concepts into design and tangible schematics, working closely with internal and external teams to lead conceptual designs through execution and manage design assets and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Participate in concepting and creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions.
- Lead the design development process, creating visual and vision boards, surveying, and 2D floor plans, scenic and 3D renderings to bring spatial concepts to life.
- Provide creative input on materiality, exterior and interior design, decor selections, and staging considerations from design development through fabrication oversight.
- Support and oversee the technical drawings and plans to execute key design elements for scalable activations and staging.
- Partner with cross-discipline leads for quality assurance and expectation management of design workflow, process, and delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in related architecture, interior/set design, industrial design, scenic design, or similar, and/or experience in art/technology/digital art.
- Strong knowledge and professional experience in architectural design, interior/set, and/or experiential event and brand experience design is a major plus.
- Experience in Sketchup and Vray is a plus.
