About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs & Science Liaison to join our team at Merz Aesthetics GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our distribution partner business medical-marketing-sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific and Medical Support: Provide scientific, medical, and clinical information regarding our product portfolio and its safe and effective use to healthcare professionals in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.
  • On-Site Support: Offer on-site medical/scientific support within the distribution partner management EMEA scope and build/maintain a network of local experts to support the proper usage of our product portfolio.
  • Clinical Best Practices: Discuss and cascade clinical best practices following the guidance from regional and global Medical Affairs departments.
  • Medical Information Exchange: Support the medical information exchange between internal stakeholders and external parties, following appropriate legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Adverse Events: Assume responsibility in case of adverse events (internal & external) according to the Merz Group Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Key Opinion Leaders: Manage local Key Opinion Leaders (identification, development, briefing, support, and feedback) within the distribution partner management EMEA scope.
  • Medical Education: Support the development of local medical education activities and provide guidance on topics and speaker suggestions to support the development and positioning of our product portfolio.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in Turkish, fluent in English, and excellent writing, speaking, and presenting skills in both languages.
  • Education: Degree in medicine, nursing, or similar education.
  • Experience: +3 years of experience as a medical doctor or nurse and preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  • Skills: Experienced in establishing and maintaining relationships with leading healthcare professionals and researchers, developing and providing healthcare professionals continuous education programs and patient care programs.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of the codes, laws, and regulations governing the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to travel, with excellent cooperation skills.
