Medical Affairs & Science Liaison Role

Merz Aesthetics GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs & Science Liaison to join our team in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. As a key member of our EMEA distribution partner management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall medical-marketing-sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific, medical, and clinical information regarding the Merz Aesthetics product portfolio to healthcare professionals, adhering to regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.
  • Offer on-site medical/scientific support and build/maintain a network of local experts to ensure the proper usage of the Merz Aesthetics product portfolio.
  • Discuss and cascade clinical best practices, following guidance from regional and global Medical Affairs departments.
  • Support medical information exchange between internal stakeholders and external parties, adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of medical information requests and cascade accurate medical key messages from the Merz Aesthetics product portfolio.
  • Assume responsibility for adverse events and provide overall support and guidance to healthcare professionals.
  • Manage local Key Opinion Leaders, identifying, developing, briefing, supporting, and providing feedback.
  • Support the development of local medical education activities, providing guidance on topics and speaker suggestions.
Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Turkish, fluency in English, and excellent writing, speaking, and presenting skills in both languages.
  • Degree in medicine, nursing, or similar education.
  • +3 years of experience as a medical doctor or nurse, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and researchers, as well as developing and providing healthcare professionals continuous education programs and patient care programs.
  • Ability to transfer complex science and expert communication skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of codes, laws, and regulations governing the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to travel.
  • Team player with excellent cooperation skills.
