About the Role

The Ariba Technology Consultant will play a key role in driving initiatives with SAP Cloud Solutions to automate buying processes and drive collaborative commerce with vendors. This position is responsible for implementing the SAP Procurement Solution to customers' business applications, primarily SAP ERP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers on e-commerce cloud procurement solutions, including SAP ERP and SAP Ariba.
  • Drive customers' Procurement Technology streams to achieve successful and on-time deployment.
  • Advise customers on creative and flexible solutions to speed deployment and drive business technology.
  • Facilitate customer technology sessions to identify and document customer requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects across different programs, liaising with key functional areas.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Coordinate and manage testing processes with customers from engagement to deployment.
  • Knowledge of the extensibility framework for SAP S/4HANA.
  • Handle escalations and provide consulting support for ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

  • University education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Consulting, preferably SAP Development or Consulting.
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment and influence others that impact success.
  • Experience in conducting workshops for project-related work with customers, leadership, and team members.
  • Experience with SAP ERP or S/4 HANA, SAP Ariba, and the Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Understanding of basic procurement processes.
  • Experience in SAP Procurement products and solutions.
  • Ability to think strategically and design complex projects and programs.
  • Experience in customer interaction and good presentation skills, as well as leading virtual teams across borders.
  • Communication skills in English are a must, and German is preferable.
  • Experience in decision-making within own area of responsibility/project.
  • This role requires 20-30% travel to EMEA locations.

The ISBN Technology EMEA Team is responsible for technology delivery under the ISBN portfolio, catering to Ariba Operational Procurement, Ariba Strategic Procurement, SAP Ariba Network, Central Procurement, Central Invoice Management, Fieldglass, and IES.
