About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for implementing scalable, resilient, and secure backend services. You'll work collaboratively with our product management and UI/UX teams to deliver customer value in a SaaS product environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure backend services.
- Collaborate with product management and UI/UX teams to deliver customer value.
- Turn complex requirements into working software solutions.
- Ship code daily or more frequently.
- Take ownership of a whole microservice and lead technical topics.
- Build high-quality SaaS products.
- Continuously learn, be proactive, and curious.
- Mentor other team members and support their growth.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Strong relational database experience, including ACID, query optimization, and scaling techniques.
- Familiarity with up-to-date software development tools and industry best practices is highly desirable.
- Open communication style and fluent written and spoken English skills are required.
Bonus Requirements
- Ability to work in Java and/or Python would be a plus.
- Experience in frontend development using component-oriented frameworks like Angular.
