Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps and Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our AWS-based Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure high availability and peak performance of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. You'll also develop and implement a robust security strategy focused on achieving ISO27001 certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our AWS-based Kubernetes clusters.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of services such as Keycloak, Dagster, Temporal, Snowflake, Airbyte, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and NGINX Ingress Controller.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Security and Compliance
  • Develop and implement a security strategy aligned with ISO27001 standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Implement and manage security controls to protect data and infrastructure.
  • Lead the preparation and documentation for ISO27001 certification audits.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in DevOps and infrastructure management, specifically with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of ISO27001 standards and certification processes.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is desirable.
