Platform Engineering Student

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Platform Engineering team at Infineon Technologies. As a Platform Engineering Student, you will play a key role in assisting our IT teams in managing and improving the efficiency of our internal development platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Development and Maintenance: Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of our internal development platforms, ensuring they meet the company's standards and requirements.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with IT teams across the company to implement CI/CD pipelines, streamline development processes, and enhance our development workflows.
- Exploration and Innovation: Explore the potential of Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance our development workflows and tools, and contribute to the development of modern documentation practices through Documentation-as-Code initiatives.
- Project Support: Participate in project-related tasks aimed at driving innovation and improvements to our development processes.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Assist with troubleshooting platform issues and implementing solutions to ensure a stable and reliable development environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure a cohesive development environment aligning with our company's guidelines.
- Change Management and Innovation: Assist in the change management and roll-out of new development technologies and processes, and drive innovation by creating proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for new technologies and tools to evaluate their potential and feasibility.
- Education: Currently studying Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Experience: Basic knowledge of software development and familiarity with general programming languages and platforms. Practical experience in platform engineering or automation is an advantage.
- Skills: Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles. Strong interest and basic knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Generative AI (GenAI) and its applications in software development.
- Language Skills: Good English skills, both written and spoken.
