Position Title: Strategic Purchasing Manager - Region E&M DACH

Company Overview: Bilfinger stands as the leading provider of industrial services across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), delivering a wide array of services to esteemed clients in the process industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the strategic advancement of the procurement organization, systems, and methodologies within the Region E&M DACH
  • Lead a team of around 30 professionals in the Source-to-Contract (S2C) domain
  • Establish procurement strategies in collaboration with Business Unit leadership and Group Procurement
  • Define regional procurement objectives in conjunction with the Region CFO and Group Procurement
  • Plan, outline, and track procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with Business Unit leaders responsible for procurement
  • Engage with Global Category Management on supplier portfolios and partnerships
  • Facilitate cross-regional initiatives for significant product categories
  • Assist Group Procurement in executing comprehensive procurement strategies, standards, processes, and IT solutions
  • Report directly to the Region CFO and Group Chief Procurement Officer
