About the Role:

The Procurement Director will be responsible for leading the strategic development of the procurement organization, systems, and processes in the E&M DACH region. This includes overseeing the procurement function for the Business Units Maintenance & Turnarounds, Projects & Engineering, and Insulation, Scaffolding & Painting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in collaboration with Business Unit leaders and Group Procurement.
  • Lead a team of approximately 30 procurement professionals with a total spend of around €600 million.
  • Define procurement goals in alignment with the Region CFO and Group Procurement.
  • Plan, establish, and monitor procurement KPIs with Business Unit procurement managers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-regional projects for relevant commodity groups.
  • Support Group Procurement and Global Category Management in implementing overarching procurement strategies and utilizing company-wide contracts, standards, processes, and IT tools.
  • Report to the Region CFO and functionally to the Group CPO.
