Research Associate in AI and Psychology

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team at the Chair of Social & Economic Psychology. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating experimental quantitative studies in the field of AI and psychology.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic qualifications, preferably in psychology, economics, or business management, and a strong interest in the field of AI and computer science. Experience in the application of quantitative methods and proficiency in using statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) is also required.

The position is part of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for 3 years. The project aims to investigate the transparency of algorithmic decision making systems and their impact on human behavior.

As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing experimental quantitative studies
  • Evaluating research results and publishing in top-tier international journals
  • Participating in regular meetings with the research project team
