We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified researcher to join our team at the Chair of Social and Economic Psychology at Zeppelin Universität. The successful candidate will be part of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) that investigates the transparency of algorithmic decision making systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate experimental quantitative studies on algorithmic decision making systems
  • Conduct research and publish results in top-tier international journals
  • Participate in regular project meetings and collaborate with the Department of Computer Science at the University Kaiserslautern-Landau

Requirements

  • Excellent academic qualifications in psychology, economics, or business management
  • Strong interest in AI and computer science, with knowledge of quantitative methods and proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS)
  • Problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and self-organization
  • International orientation and excellent English language skills, with knowledge of German an advantage
