About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in the field of Audit & Assurance. As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients, leveraging your expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based data engineering solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions
- Develop and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Azure Storage and Azure SQL DB
- Provide infrastructure for data scientists and advise on data pipeline development
- Model data structures in Azure SQL DB according to proven data modeling principles
- Monitor, maintain, and expand existing ETL and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business and technical challenges and implement solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions (AZ-104 certification a plus)
- Experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure and associated services
- Understanding of data processing and modeling for analytical use cases with Azure Data Factory
- Experience with data modeling and data engineering for data-intensive applications, including cloud provider technology (Azure)
- Proficiency in Python or other coding languages and ETL tools
- Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau, or data mining tools such as Knime or Alteryx (certifications a plus)
- Relevant experience of about 5 years in the above-mentioned technical areas
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and German
- Basic understanding of financial data, ERP systems, and accounting processes
