Cloud Solutions for a Digitised Germany

Findr seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer to contribute to the modernisation of government technical infrastructure.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building the 'German Justice Cloud' and other important software projects for emergency services and the ministry of finance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic consulting for the introduction of cloud technologies under customer-specific requirements.
  • Design and develop sophisticated cloud solutions and architectures with regards to reliability, security, performance, and costs.
  • Develop implementation and operating concepts for modern cloud applications.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Strong and practical experience with services in at least one of the cloud platforms Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • A hands-on mentality and experience in the productive use of container platforms and serverless technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Knative, or Lambda).
  • Skills with cloud native tools for continuous integration & delivery, observability, and security (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, or NeuVector).
