Job Title: Senior Commercial Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Omio. As a Senior Commercial Lawyer, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with transport service providers and other important suppliers, working with the finance and tax teams in relation to group expansion matters, and advising the business on data privacy matters arising throughout the group.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts with transport service providers and other important suppliers
  • Work with the finance and tax teams in relation to group expansion matters
  • Advise the business on data privacy matters arising throughout the group
  • Prepare and deliver short training sessions for the business
  • Assist with corporate documentation and company secretarial matters for group companies
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislative and regulatory obligations and advise the business on practical implications
  • Handle disputes and litigation matters and liaise with external counsel where appropriate

Requirements:

  • EU (ideally German) qualified lawyer with at least two years' relevant experience
  • Fluent in English and German. Other languages are a plus
  • Great communication skills and confidence in advising colleagues at all levels of the organisation
  • Good legal drafting skills and ability to provide clear and concise written advice
  • International outlook and preparedness to deal with different jurisdictions
  • Enjoy working in a small team in a growing company with flexibility and responsibility
